Why we keep the venue a secret

The address arrives in your inbox only after your seat is confirmed. It's not a gimmick: it keeps every gathering private, safe and a little bit magical.

Every Society 22 event page lists the area and the date, never the street address. Guests receive the exact location by email once their payment has been verified. People sometimes ask why.

Privacy for everyone in the room

Our guests are founders, professionals and creatives who value their privacy. Keeping the venue off the public internet means the only people who walk through the door are the people we've confirmed.

Respect for our venue partners

Many of our venues are private homes, closed rooftops and spaces that don't normally host events. Partners open their doors to us because we promise a small, considerate crowd and no uninvited guests.

The reveal is part of the evening. There's something about an address arriving in your inbox that makes the night feel like an invitation, not a ticket.

A small sense of occasion

And honestly, it's fun. Guests tell us that the moment the confirmation email lands is when the evening really begins.
